How to review and optimise your products

You can easily review your products in TourDesk to make sure they look as attractive as possible to your resellers. We have a list of recommendations below that you can follow so your tours and activities have the best possible reach.


You can update the product’s information in your supplier system and it will be updated in TourDesk within 1-2 business days. Note that any updates you make in TourDesk won’t be reflected in your supplier system. If you're not currently using a supplier system, you can reach out to our supply team to update your product.


To review your product, click Activities in the left hand side menu and then click the title of the product you want to review.


This is the list of the most important elements for your product to have in TourDesk to ensure that it functions properly and looks as great as possible!

  • Description
    We recommend that the description is at least 150 words long to give travellers a good amount of information and detail on your product. If you’re connected to a supplier system, TourDesk will automatically use your description from there.
  • Photos
    Have at least 5 photos that represent the activity well. If you’re connected to a supplier system, TourDesk will automatically use your from from there but you can hide/show photos depending on your preference.
  • Key photo
    Select a key photo that captures the most attention. This photo is the first photo that the user sees for the activity.
  • Region
    Add the region your tour takes place in. This allows your guests to find tours and activities where they’re staying. 
  • Pickup place
    Define available pickup locations for the activity so your guests know where you’re located.
  • Tags
    Select at least two tags for the activity. Tags help the customer sort through all the available tours and activities and find what peaks their interest. You can add as many relevant tags as you’d like. 


Click Submit changes once you’ve edited the product.


You can download a demo voucher to see how your vouchers will look for guests booking your products in TourDesk. Scroll down and click Download next to Demo voucher. 


If you’ve recently made changes to your description, photos or other information in your supplier system that you’d like to be reflected in TourDesk you can scroll down and click Update next to Update from supply system. This will update the product within 1 hour, otherwise the change might take up to 1-2 business days to be reflected. Note that any changes you make to your product in TourDesk will only be reflected in TourDesk and not in your supplier system.
